Her diverse background includes retail management for 15 years, and running a business she and her husband owned for nearly 40 years. She brings a wealth of knowledge about the needs of businesses and organizations to her role, as well as a passion for community justice to ensure that victims' voices are a part of the restorative panel process. In her spare time she can be found at a dance class (hip hop or Zumba), riding her bike, or spending time with family and friends.

Clark Sheldon is the Parallel Justice Specialist at The Burlington Police Department, is a pretty down-to-earth guy.  Since graduating from The University of Vermont in 2002 with a BA in Women's and Gender Studies he has worked within the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered and Queer community as an anti-violence advocate and peer outreach worker.  Outside of work he enjoys flower gardening, baking, Blues and Bluegrass music, playing in the mud and the occasional game of Wii bowling.  Clark is honored to be part of Parallel Justice's mission to go places where no victim services program has gone before.

Glenn Taulton is our latest addition to the Offender Reentry program, helping those returning from pirision access the resources they need to succeed.

Jocelyn Dubuque, the Restorative Justice Program Coordinator has been working in Restorative Justice since 2004 and loves it.  Restorative principles can be applied in countless venues and she finds that this work carries over to a way of life offering deeper understanding, growth and healing.  She received her Masters from St. Michael's, her BS from Rivier College and found her path lead her to this work at the CJC.   A good day for Jocelyn would be one with good conversation & understanding or in nature shared with a 4 legged companion - a good day indeed!

Karen Vastine has been the coordinator of the Community Justice Center since May, 2007.  Before her work at the CJC, she spent 8 years as a disability rights advocate providing individual advocacy as well as systemic advocacy through training and policy work within the Criminal Justice System and at the Network Against Domestic and Sexual Violence. She also directed the Communication Support Project out of the Office of the Defender General.  All of her work with people with disabilities made her realize that crime can be incredibly stigmatizing and isolating.  She joined the CJC to address that trend in hopes of creating greater safety and community connectedness in Burlington.

Nicky Beaudoin is the Graffitti Removal Team Coordiator. A former filmaker and lifetime student of diversity and inclusion dynamics, she also loves Curious George.
